Commitments
Kinross supports a number of organizations and initiatives aligned with our ESG strategy and commitment to sustainability and responsible mining. Since 2010, we have been a participant in the United Nations Global Compact and committed to its Ten Principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. Our approach to taxation is aligned with the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) and internationally accepted EITI principles and standard for transparency.
Kinross’ Human Rights Adherence and Verification Program (HRA & VP) is our internal program to ensure that our approach follows the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights.
Kinross’ Environmental Management System is aligned with ISO14001:(2015). Our Paracatu operation is ISO14001 certified.
Kinross' Energy Management System is aligned with ISO 50001 (2025). Our La Coipa operation is ISO 50001 certified.
