Kinross Great Bear officially designated for inclusion in Ontario Government’s 1P1P framework

Kinross Gold is proud to announce that our Great Bear project, located in Red Lake, Ontario, has been designated for inclusion in Ontario’s streamlined ‘One Project, One Process’ (1P1P) framework, making the project the first gold mine and third project overall to be accepted under the new framework. 

Ontario Minister of Mines Stephen Lecce, made the announcement on February 17th at a press conference attended by members of Kinross Gold’s leadership team, including Geoff Gold, President.
