Kinross Fort Knox was excited to partner with the Fairbanks North Star Bureau (FNSB) Emergency Operations Department and Volunteers in Policing to host their annual ‘Emergency Preparedness and Youth Safety Day’ in Fairbanks!

Youth Safety Day is an opportunity to raise awareness for health and safety hazards that can affect our youth through a series of interactive activities, safety demos, and hazard and disaster preparedness demonstrations and simulations. Local Emergency Responders and the Fort Knox Emergency Response Team attended the event to get to know community members and host a series of exercises, workshops and educational seminars for attendees. We are pleased to share that once again, Kinross Fort Knox provided bike helmets to all youth attendees to help keep our kids safe on the roads.
