Conference call / webcast details

Toronto, Ontario - Kinross will release its financial statements for the first nine months of 2005 today, February 15, 2006, after market close. In connection with the release, Kinross will hold a conference call and audio webcast on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 2 p.m. EST to discuss the third quarter results announcement followed by a question and answer session.
