Kinross To Announce 2005 Third Quarter Operating Update

November 21, 2005 -- Kinross Gold Corporation
(TSX - K; NYSE - KGC) ("Kinross") will release an
operations update for the third quarter of 2005 on Monday, November 21, 2005, after market close.
Similar to previous quarterly updates, this will be an abbreviated release and will not include third
quarter financial statements. In connection with the release, Kinross will hold a conference call and
