Conference call / webcast on February 22, 2008

Toronto, Ontario, February 8, 2008 - Kinross Gold Corporation (TSX: K; NYSE: KGC) will release its financial statements and operating results for the fourth quarter and year end of 2007 on Thursday, February 21, 2008, after market close. In connection with the release, Kinross will hold a conference call and audio webcast on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. EST to discuss the results followed by a question and answer session.
